Living as I do in the East Anglian Fens, I have long been fascinated by the wetlands and especially its insects, photography being another of my interests, so this is a celebration in music and images of the Great Fen and its wildlife. The photos were taken mostly at Woodwalton Fen – one of my favourite haunts and some at Wicken Fen
This was probably the last music I wrote and recorded entirely on soft synths – and a little bit of flute from me also!. I also had the recording transcribed for small orchestra and have score and full set of parts. However, so far I have been unable to secure any performance of the work.
