I had been working on some instrumentals based on Scottish folk tunes – just love pentatonic stuff! Then singer/ Songwriter Helen McCookerybook, with whom I had worked on The Cutty Wren heard these and volunteered to add vocals . . .but opted to sing these in Gaelic! So the genre ‘Synthecosse’ was born!
The two track single is now available on Bandcamp but will be available soon on a limited edition 7″ blue vinyl disc
